While soil stabilization is the main goal of any paving material, there are many factors to consider when choosing a road base as opposed to an asphalt or concrete surface.
Dust and erosion are an important concern often overlooked.
Longevity of your Road Base installation is important as well. All Road Base materials have a different resistance to moisture, weight, pressure and soil movement.
Don’t choose a Road Base that will get washed out with the first rain or fail to remain stable (compacted) under normal use.
Road Base Process
1. Dress grade and remove debris in designated areas.
2. Install necessary tonnage of recycled Asphal/concrete-Base CLASS 6 (or other road base as designed).
3. Hydrate as needed.
4. Grade as designed.
5. Roll until compacted with 3-5 ton roller.
We offer hourly dump truck hauling and haul offs. We also offer spread dumping. When drivers arrives at your site, they will determine if they can safely spread dump the materials.
